At Blossom Baking, a private cake studio tucked back in the orchards of Hood River, Oregon, baker, Amy Lively, specializes in desserts for special occasions. From bespoke wedding cakes, to hand rolled pies and dessert tables, she really loves any reason to get her hands in the flour and create something exquisite. With a healthy amount of determination and competitiveness, the goals are simple: wake up and get to creating. Create intentionally, and gratefully, using every gift you've been given. The Cakes: The very best cakes begin with the very best ingredients. Our cakes are packed with the fattiest, creamiest, richest ingredients we can get our hands on. With a base of Oregon-made buttermilk and sour cream, our cakes are sure to wow your guests.every. single. time. (please, check out our reviews on Google) no lifeless-boring wedding cakes here!
But, what about the buttercream, you ask? "What is this vanilla ice cream-like frosting?!" Swiss. Meringue. Buttercream. That's what it is. The tender cake sponges and fillings are the stars, the delicate not-too-sweet buttercream holds it all in place with a big ol' kiss of vanilla bean.

Okay, fine— yes I am biased. But I'll tell you. My favorite wedding cake flavor is anything with the Almond Poppyseed base. It was inspired by those gigantic poppyseed muffins I used to beg my mom for at every truck stop on our many road trips while screaming Tom Petty's greatest hits at the tops of our lungs.

Pricing and Booking Information
Blossom Baking delightfully serves Hood River, Wasco, and Skamania Counties in the Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington State. Minimum Order, delivery & setup details below.
Minimum order for evening deliveries (4-6pm) $800, delivery and setup to the venue complimentary for all orders over $800.
Minimum order for mid-day delivery drop off, no setup included: $400
Single Tier Cutting Cakes: Pickup Only, $150-$300 depending on design and complexity. Total due at booking.
Dessert Table Pickup Orders: Minimum: $400, must be paid in full upon booking.
Tiered Cakes (2 tier, 3 tier, 4+tier) Base Starting Price: $9/serving. Minimum $800, delivery complimentary. Each order is custom, and prices may increase depending on complexity. Feel free to send me your dessert dreams, along with any photo inspiration when you contact me to receive the most accurate quote.
